June 29 Strafford Wind Symphony

Tonight’s performers are:

Strafford Wind Symphony

This symphonic concert band performs a variety of traditional music for wind ensemble as well as the more contemporary “pops” pieces that summer audiences love.

We are a volunteer musical organization that rehearses weekly in Rochester, NH. Our membership is comprised of music professionals and non-professionals of all ages and walks of life.

The Strafford Wind Symphony performs a wide array of musical styles from wind band standards to patriotic marches, film medleys, broadway classics, vocal features and more.

We enjoy coming back to familiar places to share music, but also seek to perform for new audiences. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we are dependent upon the generosity of our families, friends, neighbors and business community to help us keep the music playing from year to year.

The Strafford Wind Symphony exists to provide opportunities for enhanced growth and lifelong musical expression through challenging musical experiences for its members. In addition, SWS provides musical educational assistance for younger musicians. Our performances entertain a wide range of audiences and also support the history and heritage of the American Community Band.
